Here, Giuseppe, a 4th-generation tailor with nearly 50 years of experience, welcomes, by appointment, residents, professionals and visitors to the island seeking authentic Italian bespoke and formal wear crafted in the true tradition of Italian tailoring.

A bespoke suit by Giuseppe Rapisarda starts with the person, not the fabric. The style consultation analyses body type, lifestyle, climate and occasions for wear: all factors that carry particular weight in Malta, amidst its formal events, international business and Mediterranean heat. Only then do we move on to selecting the fabric from the collections of the finest Italian manufacturers: Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Piacenza Cashmere, Cerruti 1881 and others.

In Malta, "bespoke" is a word you often come across, but it almost always refers to "made-to-measure": a suit adapted from an existing pattern. At Giuseppe Rapisarda, bespoke is truly authentic: a pattern created from scratch based on your measurements, fabric cut from a single roll, and entirely hand-sewn more than 40 hours of work. Four generations of Sicilian tailoring expertise, brought to the island almost 20 years ago and established here ever since.

The initial consultation, the presentation of fabrics, taking measurements, fittings and delivery of the finished suit: everything takes place wherever and whenever you prefer.

The Maltese atelier is located in St Julian's, within the Hilton-Portomaso Complex, the island's most exclusive waterfront district.
The space is private and operates by appointment only. Inside, you will find the full collection of fabrics from our partner manufacturers, samples of accessories and everything you need to design your garment at your own pace and with careful attention to detail.
